I understand that I need to get married before approval to be able to get my wife into US by follow-to-join process. A couple of questions:
1) Would it matter if instead of going to my home country , she would visit me here in US, we would get married here in the US, then she would go back to our home country, and depending on status of my I-485 by the time of her return, she would apply for H4 or "follow-to-join".. Are there any catches in this scenario?
2) How long consulate processing of "follow-to-join" normally takes?
3) I understand that if I get approved before we marry, we\'ll have to apply for that long family-based I-130 immigration process. Does it go by country quotas or not? If yes, where could I find those quotas and how long does it currently take for particular country?
