Hello
I have my interview scheduled in dec. at NYC. I have applied on 3 yr marriage based N400. I had asked this question earlier but did not mention that it was a marriage based case..
What documents that I need to bring to the interview to prove I am still married to the same person.
Has anyone been thru the same situation at NYC?

I have my wife as 401K beneficiary .
We have joint mortgage, bank accounts
She is beneficiary on my work life insurance plan.
I am beneficiary on her life insurance.
I have join tax returns (including IRS transcripts)
We have a 5 yr old .
As far as bills are concerned , mostly we do online billing and we do have joint electricity.but I don't have all bills saved.
DO I need more? What else should I be collecting.
and we spends all my money shopping together;-)

Gather any documentation you have that shows you have both shared the same address during the statutory period. What you have should be sufficient. Don't forget marriage certificate as well.

Agreed with Bob above. Mine was based on 3-year, i took everything to show a relationship during that time. The IO never asked me for anything, only my passport...

mine didn't look at a thing, and I had a huge pile of stuff :) very similar to what you described.
He didn't even check the pp, just GC and 2 photos was all he needed!
he did have a nice, mini chat with my wife though (just before he took me to the interview, when he noticed that she was there with me waiting), and was very nice during the interview;

here's my full report of the interview:

Same here. IO did not ask for any docs...just the marriage certificate, my wife's birth certificate, etc....nothing as to proof of our marriage. No worries...bring what you have...but always good to be overly prepared...as you never know what they may need know. It is better that you have every single docs that you can think of and not to be asked to show them then stump you with something you dont have and may have to come back again or resubmit again. HTH!!
