marriage and birth certificates after GC approved

My GC has been approved in July 2001,,Any of you requested your original Marriage/Birth cerificates back to you from INS.
I will appreciated your response.

You sent the originals?
Most of us do not sent in originals in the first
places. We sent in copies, but got prepared for
the INS to check the originals, say, during interview,
but the INS never asked for originals.

I am also waiting

We have sent original Birth Certificate based on the INS request. But
did not get it back from INS yet. Requested them to send the original
Birth Certificate and waiting on it.
