Marriage and 485 issues

Hi All,

I am a new member to this portal. It was kinda nice to see all this activity on immigration.

I am currently on my 3rd EAD/AP and don't have a H1B visa. I am planning on getting married in India. I was wondering since my "I- 485" has not been approved, is it possible to marry and bring my spouse on an dependent visa?. If this option is not valid, can I file her on my I-485 as a dependent out here /back home(if possible) and wait for her (on follow to join basis)approval along with mine. How long of a wait period is this.

Lastly, is there any hope for dependent visa's for EAD/I485.

She cannot come as your dependent now. After the approval you need to apply follow to join.

Or If she is qualified and you can an H1 bring her on H1. And apply I-485 immediately

Remember if u decide 'follow to join' then after marriage update ur 485 and put her name .
