Marriage after travel on AP

I have a H1 visa but without a stamp on my passport. I am travelling to India on my recently approved AP. I am planning on returning to US on AP and I am not planning on going to the consulate to get my H1 stamped. Is it possible for me to get married and bring my wife here on H4 as long as I did not use my EAD to work for a second company. Please advise.

U are not going out using AP

U will use AP when U come back into US. For your wife to get h4 visa, it is easier if you submit your h1 for stamping also. In fact chennai consulate insists that both h1 and h4 be stamped together...
