Marriage After That I Have a Permanent Resident Card

Hello
I won i 2012 lottery. now i have my permanent resident card, but i still living in my country i've lived before, because i'm finishing my studies.
now me and my girlfriend want to marriage.
the question is what is the process of bringing my wife with me to the US? does she gets permanent resident automatically? what kind of documents we need to present? how much time we need to live together to proof our marriage?

You will have to enter US before the expiry date printed on your DV they attached in your PP.

Read the following thread together with 9 FAM 42.33 Notes N6.6 c.

You should be ok, but they will Q your spouse v hard to make sure the marriage is not sham! (go well prepared w/documents that you 2 were known well before DV winning etc.)

Being a 2012 DV winner, I don't think the OP's case/soon to be wife qualifies for a DV based derivative status. The OP's fiscal year is over. I gather from his posting that he's already been to the US to activate his LPR status, he has in GC on hand and he went back to his home country to finish schooling, or is there something that I'm missing?

Well, if you chk his history he is in fact DV 13, got the visa stamped in Dec. '12.
I was not sure whether he entered US, he may have and went back 'cos now its closer to 6 mos.

If then the DV route for the spouse is over, he should have got married before coming to US. Now it may be FB-F2A category, i think.

I see. I originally thought he was a DV2012 winner, going by what he wrote - I didn't check his history. And yeah, if he's already entered the US, his option will be the FB-F2A - he's looking at a couple of years to get the GC for her.
