marriage after getting green card

Dear All,

I am Singaporean and am a green card holder. I got married last month. My wife is a Chinese and currently on J visa.

I looked through the FAQ and noticed that I need to apply for an I-130 petition.

I realised that the queue to get the visa immigration number depends on the nationality of the applicant(Am I right?). So I wonder if she is on the China queue or Singapore queue?

What happen if her J visa expire while still waiting for the immigration number? Is that mean she may need to go back to China?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

My understanding is that unless she is exempt from the 2 year home residency rule when her J visa expires, yes, she will have to return to China.

How long have you been a GC Holder and did you obtain a GC through Employment or Marriage or another Category?

How long do you have till you are eligible to apply for Citizenship?
 
I obtained my GC through employment 6months ago.
Is there anyway she could exempt from 2years home residency? In order words, could a company apply a H1B for her while she in still on J visa by changing a job?
