Hi Guys!

Marriage after GC and the barbarian law in the modern society Considering USA is an example for modern society and barbarian law being law seperating couples, if they got married after getting one of their GC and spouse is a foreign national.

Does anybody have any solution or any easiest way to bring their spouses if they get married outside USA after getting their GC? Man.... that's just freeking me out! I guess, most of us are in the same boat struggling with the same issue marrying outside USA and bringing spouse to USA. The most outrageous and natorious law on the earth. Funny thing is whereever you go, you see slogans and writings about family values all over the place and the fact is... US governement is seperating couples because of this freeking law.
I have to go to a different country in coming November or December and get married there. Then I have to bring my wife here. I will try my best to find a way to do that Otherwise, I have to leave USA and work in my country for some time and come back.
I don't understand one thing though... as you might've remembered, at one point we were trying to make some noise and tyied to bring awareness about this issue to all users and members. As a badly impacted GC holder of this law, I tried so hard and I've informed so many people about this family based section and HR 539 bill and got their support. Suddenly, admins of this web site decided to move everything to some other web site which looks like a junk. I will be confused when go there! I felet that somebody ruined my hardwork and killed my passion to get support from others. Why those web sites when they are not helping us? Look at this section now... nobody even cares about this section and people are posting 485 issues rather than Family based GC issues.

Rajiv/other admins... Please do something about these issues(not only about the web site, also about the family based GC issue and HR539 bill in the house)... Please!

Appreciate you reading this!

well, first of all people who apply for AOS ARE lot of times applying through marriage ( like myself married to a us citizen) therefore I don't see any problem in posting I-485 issues on this forum. I believe it is the proper place.
I agree with you on your comments about laws and don't forget that everybody here is trying to get an advice, so let people post their threads where they can be answered.

You know the follow-to-join benefit applies to people who were married before I-485 was approved. If you can get hold of a fake marriage certificate showing an old marriage date, may be you can use that route to bring your wife. I am not sure about this, you better ask some other people too.

THAT'S A GREAT SUGGESTION BOEEING777!!!!!

That's what he should do, commit immigration fraud by faking documents and go to a federal prison. (He'd have a different kind of wife there).

Then, when he gets out, he would be removed from the US and permenantly barred from reentering.

What a good idea!!!

I too agree with Jim and Sachin.

If you are a greencard holder, you do not have right to bring your family here. So, if you decide to get married after knowing that there is no way to bring the wife here why is the INS at fault?? I know that I don't have this problem so I might be off here but why would you marry someone if you know that you might not be able to be with them for like 5 years? Either wait for those 5 years then get married or don't complain.

I have been waiting to get my parents' I130 approved from TSC for almost 2 years and that's te same category as spouses of US Citizens. So, not only GC holders have this huge delay but the Citizens have this separation too.

I agree with jim,

using fraudelant documents to gain immigration benefits is not what's discussed in these forums..
