Hi, I have a question on marital status. I filed for I-140 as single and it got approved, with my PD as Oct 2014. When my I-485 was pending, I got married and then divorced within 2 years. In my H1B or I-140 application, I have never sponsored my ex-spouse. Now my I-485 application is open, so do I have to put my marital status as divorced? or keep single to avoid discrepancy between I-140 vs I-485 regarding marital status. If I change marital status to divorced, won't my processing get delayed?
