Received 2PF notice today
Question: Can i do PF earlier then the due date? Any experience at Newark, NJ

ND = Apr 6, 2002
1FP = June 11, 2002
2FP = Due on Apr 4, 2004
 
Yes you can go early. Personally, I went a month in advance, no issues. A weekday is better - get there between 9-10am. The process took around an hour.

A note on the excel file. If it returns "Misc" as the status, it usually indicates an approval. When scanning, the "Misc" results need to be checked manually.

Congressman Inquiry Update

Rush Holt's (NJ Congress) office replied back to my inquiry with them to check case status with INS. The letter says INS is still processing Jan. 31st, & to get in touch with his office after June 1st, if I have not heard by then.

Absolutely useless...........:mad: Am tired of waiting

On 3/3/04
RFE recd changed to 10 (obviously INS recd. 2 RFE responses back)
RFE sent changed to 1

I was doing my usual daily check of the webpage expecting the old information but to my utmost surprise it said approved today for me and my spouse!!! unbelievable! good luck to everyone guys, i'll update rupnet too.
I filed EAD/AP just 2 weeks back and maybe that had something to do with trigerring the 485 process ...who knows!
