March RFE case Approved

Thanks to Sairam, my case as well as my wife\'s has been approved. Could not check my daughter\'s case as I do not have a separate Receipt number.

Details:

PD 05/1997, EB3 India.
I140 approved in Feb. 1999
RD 03/13/2001, ND 03/19/2001, AD 02/13/2002

RFE generated on 1/17/2002 - Employer Letter plus 3 paystubs.
RFE received by VSC on 2/5/2002.

Other notes:

1. I140 - CP case.
2. Labor in NJ took almost 2.5 years.

Don\'t know if I140 ever came back from Chennai consulate.

Thanks to Mr. Rajiv Khanna for hosting this site. In the absence of any information from INS, this site is extremely helpful in maintaining one\'s sanity during the entire GC process.

Though I had started posting only in recent times, I should appreciate all the contributions of people like myladoor, chapdin, bayofb, baba yaga and others.

Cannot question INS actions!!!

When the company filed for I485, they sent all relevant documents - IRS Tax returns, pay stubs, letter etc.

Possibly, because my I140 was for Consular Processing (CP), INS generated an RFE.
