March filers pl respond : I-485 Receipt Notice

Hello all,

I got my I140 approved - EB2 TSC.. am current

TB - OK
MMR - Administered
Varicella - Had chicken-pox when a child
Tetanus - Doctor said, they don\'t have Tetanus vaccine available
as there is a nationwide shortage and mentioned the same in the
medical form(copy given to me)... I already have the sealed envelopes
from the INS Doctor, which might be carrying the same information
inside.
Now, will I stand a chance of getting a RFE from INS.
If, now I scout around, get tetanus vaccine for me and my wife from some other hospital.. how can i vget it refelcted in the I-693 form. OR
can i just enclose the endorsment given by the other doctor in my 485
filing papers, just to avoid any RFE from TSC during my 485 stage???

please suggest... got so near.. now am spending time in tension...

PD: 02/2000
485 application sent on Week begining 19th March
RD:04/02
ND:04/17
Case # WAC 01xxxxx...

Ok, it looks i am going into California queue. I work in california but our HO is in Texas.
Is california processign time better than Texas?

EAD Received!!!

Folks,

Just want to share some information with you guys. We filed our I-485, EAD, AP on 03/07/01 (I am the applicant). After about serveral weeks we got one EAD receipt for my husband(RD: 03/09/01; ND 03/19/01; SRC-01-127-XXXXX). Yesterday I received my EAD card from INS (SRC-01-127-XXXXX). We have requesed our Attorney to send all receipts to us but have not got them. Do not know how many receipts he got. Will post all info online here and www.immitracker.com. Thanks.

i have to do medical. What is the typical fee for medical examination?

can u please suggest me the documents required for applying I-485, EAD and AP

The fee is not very standard but prepare at least $300.00 for each person. I do not remember exactly how many documents you need but Passport and the medical forms are absolutely needed. Check with your attorney for details.

Sorry for the late posting..
Congratulations on your making it to I-485 stage..

These are the medical expenses(roughly) i incurred for each of us
(me and my wife)

TB Test(At the US health dept) - $20 each(I think)
INS Doctor - $ 140 each
Tetanus/Diptheria - Free at the medical Dept
MMR - $80 each (I took the vacc at the INS doctor, so got screwed for that)
Varicella - both of us had chicken-pox when we were young, so not required..

I live in NC. For the INS doctor I went to SC.

We filed our applications (EAD, AP, I-485) for me and my husband on March 7, 2001. We got both APs at the same time on 05/20/2001 from our Attorney. I got my EAD sometime around 04/11/2001. My husband\'s EAD came around 05/05/2001. I assume the Attorney has got the receipt for I-485. We requested for all receipts from Attorney but seems he never want to give us. Will try to request again.

I too sent my appication in March and no receipt yet and the money orders have not been cashed either. I was getting worried if they had received my application yet.

On June\'07,2001

- EAD received for both spouse and myself.

- Got receipt numbers for 485 and 765 for applications sent March\'15,2001.

I have sent in the I485 application Sep2000 ND 09/30/2000 FL 11/08/2000. The medical test for my wife was exempted as she was expecting at that time. Any idea if there will be an RE in this regard or if she will need to give the test again?

Send the papers on april 1st, got the receipt notice with RD 04/20/2001.
