When ca n we start calling to find interview dates? Normaly to me i observed from 1st week of the month. WantAGC when did u find out yours was 1st of Feb?

We can start from tomorrow 4th March. I remember that wantAgc got his date for Feb interview on 4th Jan from Mumbai US consulate. I am planning to call tonight. Which consulate you have applied for CP??

does anyone know if you can request a interview date ? I am planning on sending P3 but don\'t think it will get there before Feb 15. If it reaches around Feb 20-22 can I include a letter to request late April or early May interview? I am trying to avoid interview between May 20- June 20. Please advice.

Chennai doesnot entertain specific requests unless you can show a very good reason, so don\'t count on it. I tried but to no avail.

any idea about Mumbai consulate?

I will be sending P3 to mumbai - any idea if they will accept interview date requests?

Yes you can request a specific period when you want the intireview..
like early March , mid april etc.
They ususally comply.

You cannot ask for a specific date tho.
 
bluegrass-YOU CAN REQUEST SPECIFIC DATE. I ASKED FOR IT AND THEY GAVE ME

If you send P3 just after cut off date which is normally 20th of each month. that means you will in top of the list when the schedule interview for perticular month. I did the same and I asked for specific date and they gave me. ONLY WAY TO ASK FOR DATE IS BY SENDING THEM IS BY EMAIL NOT BY PHONE. Good Luck
