FP1 notice recd : 04/01/2003
FP2 notice recd: 08/03/2004

My case details

RD: 03/18/2003
ND: 03/28/2003
FP1 05/10/2003 ( had Issue with wife FP1 so we did them again in AUG03)
AD: 08/23/2004
2 EADs and 2 APs

Received my first FP notice atlast, scheduled for 9/2.

485: RD - 3/13/03; ND - 3/31/03; AD - ????
140: RD - 3/13/03; ND - 3/31/03; AD - 11/13/03
EAD1: AD - 6/03
EAD2: AD - 5/04
AP1: AD - 6/03
AP2: AD - 5/04
FP1 - Shceduled for 9/2/04

LUD did not change.

Today, I received my 1st FP notice for I-485 with ND March 31, 2003
The scheduled finger print date is Sept. 16, 2004 in Newark center.

Does any one know if I can go earlier for FP? If yes, which week day and what time I should arrive, which line (appointment one or the other one) I should be on?

Any responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

How come you guys received the 1st finger printing notice only now? I received it in May last year (ND: 04/07/2003) like a lot of other guys. I was expecting my 2nd finger printing notice after an year but that didn't happen and have no clue as to when I would receive that.

Could you please clarify (if you are aware) the rationale behind these differences?

No FP yet

Hello All,

My I-485 ND is 03/31/2003. I haven't got my(and my wife's) Finger printing yet.
LUD for case my shows 8/10/04 and mine as 8/17/04. I-140 approved on 7/31/2003.
Do I have to ask my attorney to call INS? Is it going to help me?
Any reply would be appreciated.

Hi,
It wouldnt hurt to call the INS (you can do it yourself since lawyers charge for every word). Anything to keep getting your file noticed wont hurt is what I find. My file got transferred to Nweark the day after I called them about my address change. I hope this is a good thing becos Newark is much faster and I got 2 LUD changes after taht -which means its not gathering dust.

Got FP2 notice

My first FP1 was done on 5/20/03. This week I got letter for FP2. FP2 is sceduled on 9/28/04. But the letter is dated 8/19/04. So urs must be in the mail :)

Check ur LUD. Mine is changed since they sent FP2 notice.
 
FP1- recvd notice for FP1 after the scheduled date

Hello,

EB3-Concurrent filing.
I-140 AD: 07/31/2003
I-485 ND: 03/31/2003


I have recvd my FP notice after the scheduled date. The notice date for the FP is 8/30/2004 and my appointment is scheduled for 09/02/2004 at 8.00 AM.
The postal stamp at St.Albans shows 09/01/2004.
How is it possible to go for FP when CIS has posted it on 09/01/2004.
The notice says if I don't show up on the given date, "my I-485 would be abondoned".

1. What do I do now? Today is a holiday, so I have to wait till Tuessday to talk to my lawyer and/or CIS.
2. My wife didnot recv any FP notices. There was some mistake with her name, but she had called and corrected couple of weeks back.

Any help would be appreciated.
