I know you will call me Crazy but it takes a while to get together.

sbctsublc has done a great job in pulling Oct-Dec cases for INS year 2003. If you feel this is needed and can be covered in 2003 progress thread , it is fine too.

special thanks to " sbctsublc " for all the pain taken in putting this together.

Applied for 2nd EAD. The first EAD is expiring on May 8, 2004.

It appears that they stopped sending FP notices for all those who filed I-485 after January 2003.

At this rate I don't think it is realistic to get I-485 approved before 2006!!

In the meanwhile BCIS will make money of us from repeated EADs and APs.

Questions on I140 Approval Notice

Hello Gurus,

I have few questions on I140 Approval notice.
My I140 approved onMarch 17th(on line status). My attorney say they haven't received Approval notice yet and said they are waiting.
I am thinking to change attorney since I have chnaged my employer now.

Question is
1)How to get Approval Notice again?
2) My case is concurrent filling so Do I need Approval Notice at all?
3)Is it OK, me calling INS once I change Attorney to resend it again?
4) IS it possible to request a copy by My New attorney In case of RFE on 485?


Pl comment on this....
 
USCIS will do it

USCIS will usually send you also one copy of I140.
If you do not get it its better to get it from Lawyer ASAP.
 
Hi GC Candidate

Nice to see some post on old place.
I feel soon we will see something as our second fp will due afyter 15 months.
I think processing at that time will be at peak and they may a[pprove evry file they take in hand.
Lets pray for every ones approval.
 
still waiting for 1st FP

my 2nd ead approved 06/08 . waiting for 2nd AP approval

No sign of first FP yet . completed 16 months after 485 RD.

Any encouraging news /words would be appreciated

Still waiting for first FP. (ND: 04/01/03)

Dont worry, there are lots with ND: 03/31/03 & 04/01/03 :confused: . The other day, I just scanned for ND: 04/01/03(which is mine),I did notice that most of the folks haven't received FP. Lets keep fingers crossed.

My 485 RD is Mar 27, 03 and was FPed in Jun 03 only. I am almost due for 2nd FP now. So it doesn't matter if you haven't received ur FP notice. Better to do it once & for all.

Btw, my 2nd EAD got approved in 60 days!! Applied on may 19 and approved on Jul 19.

patience is key for us pb

If you see on forum there are people with no fp2 since oct 2002.
There was backlog which uscis is trying to remove.
They will eliminate need of second fp till later this year by being able to store fps permanatly.
