I am to inform you all mine and My family's GC is approved today. It is a long and painful journey. These are the details.
Sub Labor
I-140 applied in APR 2002 and approved in Feb 2003 from CA after RFE.
I-485 applied in March 2003 from Vermont and approved March 4 2005.
FP1 - immediately after I-485 application - May 2003
Fp2 - Sept 2004 - My daughter could give her second FP only in Dec 2005.
My attorney told my approval will come in March before 90 days of my daughter's FP2.
I changed my employer 15 months ago and did not inform USCIS as told by attorney.
Travelled on APR without any problem. My daughter travelled on APR 4 times.
2 APRS
I waited till last week and applied for my EAD as it is going to expire in May 5th. My attorney advised not to apply. But since I cannot take chances I have applied.
My attorney said he has initiated an enquiry but not sure whether it helped as the enquirry was only two days ago,
My be my 3rd EAD renewal would have trigered.
LUD changes 11/11 but message never changed.
I checked my email at 9AM but there were no mails. AT 9:30 AM I got mails. They sent two mails to each of my family members.
I think the delay is due to lack of staff and due to the fact that they are trying to clear the backlog. Hence they are trying to clear those cases which are filed last year also.
