March 2002 approved !

Ok my and my spouse's I-485 dated March 13th 2002 is approved. Details are as follows:

RD: 03-13-2002
ND: 04-02-2002
FP1: 04-26-2002
FP2: 06-22-2004
AD: 08-09-2004.

Got emails from USCIS. I am not highly excited as some of the other guys, like taking a day off, or hugging my wife/baby, praying to god, etc :). Its just a normal thing for me. This forum has been really great except for some people. Awesome sharing of information. Great resource !!, of course thanks to Rajiv and some of the non-selfish members.

I didn't feel the pain when people later than me were getting approved, but it was weird logic of processing from USCIS when they started approving July 2002-Dec 2002 and even 2003 when the official time was April 2002. So I sincerely hope that people with Feb/March/April 2002 dates get approved fast. Lastly I believe that before time and more than luck you can never achieve. Take it easy !

I am not a guru in the INS information, but any information you guys want to know you can ask me.

You dont have to be that excited. But i am pretty sure that some other March/2002 filers waiting for approvals will be excited on your approval...

I agree with you totally.. There is nothing exciting if something comes after a very looooong wait.

I hope the March-July guys get it fast now. And yes I waited for 29 months on 485 so it was looong wait, had to be really patient with many things(job,education,house etc). When I applied that time it was like 8 months wait for 485 and I thought I will get it in MAX 1 year, but the 1 year became then 18 months, 18 months became 20, then 22, then 24 then 26 and then finally 29 :). I hope things improve for everyone. But the early ones should be given top priority surely... !. Not everyone can be cool/patient when Oct 2002 and Jan 2003 are getting approved...like my buddy who is a march filer gets real mad for the early approvers.
