I had spoken to an IIO about a month back, he said it may take another 6-7 months...but as often as it has happened, we cannot trust what the IIO says.
I hope everyone get their approvals soon.

Congratulations. That was a very quick approval, a little over 2 years from your PD. I think TSC is trying to avoid issuing second FP notices by approving those cases with FP status of either just expired or about to expire. A look at the recent pattern of approvals by TSC indicates this.

I will have to agree..my FP was expiring Aug 30th.
But it makes no sense(actually nothing makes sense with INS) what so ever for people like you to wait for so long while people who applied long after you get their approvals.
I just hope TSC moves the stupid 7/99 date forward so they can be bombarded with congressmen inquiries. But I think thats one of the reason why they don\'t want to move that date.

Yes, It is very painful to wait forever hoping that my approval will come one day. Adding to this agony is the current job situation out there. Life looks miserable, especially for people like me who are out of project and on bench with no signs of getting GC anywhere in the near future.
