PCC: CGNY: applied March 20, 2002
NVC RD: not yet as per AVM. I will call tomorrow
 
any updates on PCC

does anybody have an update from Houston embassay for PCC... ?

If the embassay is goin to stamp-the Police Clearance in the Passport, what exactly do we attach as Police-clearance-certificate ... does that mean we attach the photo-copy of the pages-in passport ...
any thoughts ???

Observation in passport

The actual certificate would be issued by the Houston consulate.

In addition to that, they make an observation in the passpost stating that the certficate has been issued for the purpose of visa .
 
Hi All NVC created case on 04/03.

NVC RD 03/25 created case on 04/03.
and the officer said they will send packet 3 in 4 weeks.

I-140 approved on April 3rd

Hi,

My I-140 ( TSC to VSC xfer case) was approved on Apr 3, 2002. When can I expect CP interview?
I guess it may be in Sept or Oct 2002.

Folks !! As to the IV fees ($260.00) , we pay it to NVC when submitting Pkt3.

Is there any other fees we need to pay in the Consulate during
interview.

I am asking this because my attorney is saying that my company will
pay IV fees only for I485, any expenses for CP I need to bear it myself.

NVC haven\'t receievd till today morning. I don\'t if I should start worrying. All cases approved after me in the cptracker, have been received in NVC.

PCC: Applied 03/20. Cleared and got passports: 04/03

Is this the first time u called and talked to the operator after ur case was approved.
 
yes, the first time I called was today

I kept checking the AVM till now, when I called they told me they had received it on 28th, and the AVM would not be updated till prolly the case was created - that\'s what I understood.

hi tingc,

if they do not receive it by next week, I think you can cal the INS and see what their story is. could be that different officers who approve are also incharge of getting it to the mail_out stage at VSC?

did you apply in NY? was your passport obtained in US? did you do anything to expedite it in India?

Could you please...

check to see if the AVM has been updated for your case? I am usually not at home during the time the operator is available and have been checking AVM but no luck. From what I understand/guess from this board, once your case has been created, the AVM should be updated, but not when they just received.

If you could check AVM and post the result, that would be great!
