I applied for my AP and EAD( paper based) at VSC...
 
Folks, was March 7th, 2007 a good/lucky day ? Why are we all stuck whose cases are transfered on March 7th ? I can not believe this happening to our cases after such a long wait. Cases filed in TSC got advantage over transfer cases.
I am in the same boat, case transfered on March 7th. PD is July 2001 but ND is January 2005. So I do not think TSC adjudicates transfer cases based on PD + 485 ND. It is completely based on 485 ND. Not sure how long we have to wait . :confused:
 
My PD is Mar 2004 and EB3 from India. Our cases are also transferred on Mar 7th 2007 from VSC to TSC. I see two emails one on Mar 7 2007 and Mar 12 2007. FP done on 04/26/07 for self only. No LUD changes since FP. I took an infopass appt after July 4th to give sometime to these IOs and see what they can do.

All I can say to you guys is Never give up hope and good luck knocks your door very soon.
 
processing date and Second FP/name check from Texas letter

I am silent most time but now can't at all. Got letter from texas. saying my case is NOT out of the processing date. Fuck! those idiots must mean the transfer date (March 7) not the receipt date (Aug 5, 2004). On June 15, the processing adte is March 15, 2007. but on June 18, they changed to sep 11, 2006. what a long wait still!

Second FP is nothing to do with name check. I and my friends got 2nd FP 8 months ago. but still wait thye name check per IO I spoke with in May.

PD: July 2002 EB2
RD: Aug 2004
1st FP: April 2005
2nd FP: Nov 2006
RFE responded: Nov 2006
transferD: March 7, 2007.
called in everymonth. Finally got letter today.
 
How to find out without calling anywhere that your name check is complete?

If you get a mail that your fingerprinting results were received, does it mean the name check is completed ?

If you are Xfered on 03/07/2007 or earliar and no activity till the end of the JUly, try all the avenues as you could possibly think of as there are pretty good chances that your file might be missing or with a LAZY IO.

Doing everything, please suggest if any other options

Initiated the Sr on May 16th, got the letter from USICS that the case is tranferred to TSC thats it.

Talked to IO at TSC no much help.

Took infopass on the 25th June, talked to the nice IO, he took all my details including the 140 Approval (EAC Number), 485 receipt, spent time on my case for about 15 - 20 Min and drafted and sent an email to TSC.

He told me that, the case has finished the Name Check and waiting to be approved.

Called in the National Center Yesterday and was told that could not initiate another SR till the end of 45 days. Which is on the July 2nd.

Keeping my fingures cross and waiting for a Miracle.
 
Card Production Ordered

Hello Folks, My status changed today to card production ordered. Please see my signature for details. There was no LUD changes after my seconf FP in May. All of a sudden the case got approved on 06/29.

Bu my wife's case is still pending..Does anyone know any suggestions on what I can do for this?

No activity va_lc_case, but I am not going to get disheartened so easily. I have come this close and some rumor is not going to make me lose hope. I appreciate your optimism too.

i didnt not have any LUD change on my I-485 application but did have a LUD today (06/30) on my pending AP but that does not count...i am in for a long haul...not going anywhere soon...not hopeful at all...looks like few more months to go or may be a year now....

No activity for me....ever....since 3/15/07

Not even a 2nd FP notice... The more I think of it, my case seems to be in the NC stuck list.. I never even tried to find if NC is cleared or not....I am now just going to wait...and wait...and wait more.
