I beg to differ Mr. fortuneteller

Looking at the approval trends they have been approving based on PD + 485 ND where PD takes precedence. I've seen cases transferred on 3/15 or even after that, get approved, so am not sure how much water this "theory of transfer dates" holds. We'll see.

Believe me! I'd be more than happy if your theory works. I am one of those 3/7 transfer cases. I have been waiting to celebrate since June 1st and now I'm just about getting sick.
 
How can we celeberate without NC cleared ?

I am sorry, but I think its premature to celebrate without the Name Check being cleared. My NC is pending for 3 years now.

Just curious..is our NC cleared ? When I took an InfoPass as the Newark, NJ office, I was told, I won't get a second FP notice without NC being cleared. It appears you had 2 FPs since filing the I-485.

My Paralegal told me that if we get a Second Fingerprint it means that name check is cleared. But USCIS IO told me that my name check is still pending..Not sure what the reality is....but Eagerly waiting.

Completed Second FP..on May 5th 2007

Is second FP request sent only if Name Check is cleared? Is this true...

If thats true, may be me and my wife are stuck with name check... Mine is VSC to TSC transfered case in March 7th....

Never received second FP and first FP was done in April 05.

PD - Aug 03 - EB3 India
485 RD - July 04.
FP 1 : Apr 05.
Name Check - no idea....

I don't know if my name check is cleared. I will go for an Infopass next month to find out.

I don't think there is a relationship between the 2nd FP and name check.
 
BTW, Name Check status given by TSC IO/CSR through POJ method has a statistical chance of being correct 50% of the time. I have seen cases where these people were told that NC is pending but Infopass IO said its not and their case was approved within a few days. Either they lie to get us off their back or the fields in their system are not updated after the transfer or something. Local office FTW!

Today I visited Infopass at Santa Ana, CA. this is my second trip in past one month. luckily same IO, she checked again. TSC called for PD when she sent a SR from my fist visit, that is only response from TSC. However she said today is change on the record is that "file is in transit to IO". As per her, the file is waiting to pickup by an IO..it might take a day / two/more depends on IO work load blabla....but no LUD on online.


Anyone familiar with "file is in transit to IO"??? what does it mean reality???

I called USCIS today and nice lady said TSC is working all transfered cases from VSC with high priority and said you wait and u all will receive some News very soon..

Yup...classic definition of high priority, three fking months.
jkss, I think you were quite lucky to reach someone who'd even speak with you. Recent TSC POJ conversations have been curt and borderline impolite. I can't say that I blame them, I bet they're overworked and woefully understaffed. I'm just a tad irate at the fact that despite claiming we won't be affected by their internal transfers, they weren't better prepared to handle the actual transfers. Why state that we'd be unaffected in the first place? Its not like we asked to be transferred, not that its a bad thing since TSC is apparently the better of the four. But still...its the principle of thing.

I am also same boat trsd from VSC > TSC
NC cleard as per info pass apt ..in march 2006
I request you guys my EAD about renewal end of this month because it will exp in sept 2007.
please give me information where to apply & address
