My 485 was approved today.
Lud change on 11/29/2004 but no change on the status.
I received no notification emails.
Just now got an email from lawyer. It seems that the lawyer has received the approval notice.

God, I am really happy that this saga is coming to an end.
Waited for this for whole 6 f%#@#@ years.
 
Congratulations and be happy now ... forget about the past 6 years and enjoy the coming years ... throw a big party ... invite me also

BTW received my courtesy copy in mail too.
I am thankful to god for helping me in this journey.( in keeping my sanity or in sanity????)
Also thankful to this wonderful forum which I used to visit many times in day.

Are you in eb2 or eb3? Could you share some details about your case?

Details

Started GC in jan 1999 in EB3 cat
Labor approved in Jul 1999
140 approved in NOV 2000
Changed company (Big mistake. But labor & 140 was getting approved in 4 mths span that time)
Applied again in EB2 in sep 2001
SWA cleared in sep 2002
Moved from fed to swa in jun 2003
Then labor rule changed and was approved in jan 2004
file 140/485 in mar 2004
approved in nov 2004

Lot of time was wasted in worring abt GC rather than focusing on other thing in life. Just happy it is coming to end.
