Many RFEs on Employer Letter

Hi -

In reviewing various responses in this forum, I noticed that there are many RFEs on employment letter. Now, for those who received such RFE, did you include a letter of job offer from the employer when you filed for I-485?

In my case, the immigration attorney requested that I would include such letter from the employer upon submitting I-485. Did anyone send an employment letter with your I-485 and still got RFE for such letter? Please let me know.

I think

almost every attorney includes an employment letter. But these RFEs are kind of a standard process these days. Since they touch you case after two years, they need to verify thst the job still exists.

Thanks...a very good point. This is another reason why Rajiv's lawsuit is so critical. We are not only having to produce extra paperwork but also, going to fingerprint twice! What an inconvenience...

You don't need to include your initial job offer letter from your employer, just a current letter from them states that your currently employed by them and your job title and resposibilities remains same as what stated on your I485 application.

Thanks for your input. I know I have a long way to go before even getting an RFE. However, it's good to be on the lookout! :)
