Making Appointment with ASC

I have tried to make an appointment for fingerprinting and biometrics three times. Every time I am told there are no appointments available and to call back later. The first time I was told to call back on Monday morning at 8:00 because they get a new week of appointment dates (45 days ahead) on Monday. Well I called the next day (thursday) and the next person said I should call at 8:00 A.M. any weekday morning because they get 1 new day of appointments every day. So, today I called in at 6:05 A.M. Pacific Standard Time (9:05 EST) and I got a recording saying that the office is not open yet and that I should call back during office hours 8:00 A.M. to... I waited until exactly 8:00 A.M. PST to call in, waited another 20 minutes in queue to talk to someone and the person told me that all appointments were full and that I needed to call in at 8:00 A.M. because it is 11:30 A.M. on the east coast. I explained to her about my earlier morning call and she said that she didn't know how the system worked.
Would someone please explain to me how their system works and when should I call in if I'm on the west coast?

1-800 for what???

I called 1-800 number just like you and got the same answer like you did. Of course, you and me are not the first one :(
During the waiting period, I decided to visit InfoPass and make appointment to visit my local office via internet. July 26th is my appointment date. Just post because you may want to try something else instead of keep waiting!!!!!

try to call useing 1-800 ... phone card or any phone card on east side.
i am not sure if it works :)
 
I am still trying with no success. I can't get ahold of a person until 8AM PST which is too late to make an appointment. Are there phone cards that let you call 1-800 numbers? I agree, if I could make a call from a phone card or via an east coast number then I should be able to get through at 5AM (PST) (8AM EST).
 
Finally got App. for my fingerprints

I just got my appointment for my fingerprints booked today. :) It's on Sep 9th. I know, it's too far away. BTW, I also got my InfoPass appointment this coming 26th too. I will try to walk in and tell them I got my fingerprints appointment. Hopefully, I'll get this thing done by next Tuesday.

So, don't give up. Call them anytime you want(my calling time is 10 am central time).

Well I called in again at 8AM PST and they had appointments available. I had to call about 6 times with 3 different phones before someone was able to make an appointment because their system was down due to too many people calling in. My appointment is this Saturday at 10:00am!
