Making an appoinment for passport before oath?

Hello all,
I have my oath ceremony for citizenship on June 26th and I am willing to travel back home for few weeks a week after ceremony, is it ok to call local federal passport agency and make appointment for passport same day or a day after my ceremony date? Can it cause issue in the future since I am not an US Citizen yet? am I claiming my self as USC by making an appointment at passport agency ?
 
Since the application can't be signed until directed to do so by a acceptance agent or passport services you are not claiming US Citizenship until you are directed to sign the form.

Also, depending on the passport agency that you go to you may be required to show proof of international travel within two weeks after the appointment.
