I had a question about maintaining PR after the 3 yr limit is reached. I understand that at that time you have to enter Canada and stay there for two years so that you don't lose your PR. My question is
1) Since my wife is a PR would she also require to stay in Canada so that she does not lose her PR, are we seen as two separate PR individuals or does my staying in Canada satisfy her requirements?, I am guessing not but wanted to verify.
2) In the event that she does not move to canada at that point and she loses her PR what options do I have, do I have to wait till I complete two years in canada and then an additional year to become a citizen and then reapply for her permanent residency/citizenship? Is it easy or are there any issues, are there any other options?
Thanks
