Maintain Residence with Green Card and Sharing Apartment lease.

I've got my GC since a year. Currently I am working for a US company. I made a deal with my client and with that, I'll be working for the same US company from my home country India, for up to six months total in a year (up to 3 months at a stretch max) and rest of the year from US. Meanwhile I'll be maintaining an apartment (on lease) continuously in the US. I am planning to share my apartment for the portion of the year, with my friend (legally in US) by adding friend's name in my lease. Leasing office is OK with this. I am the main lease holder at all times.
My Question is:
A. Will it be OK at the time of USC interview for Citizenship ?
B. If my friend commits any mistake, will it affect my credit history?
C. If my friend commits any mistake, will it affect my US Citizenship interview?

What's the level of risk that I am taking by adding another person in my lease.
Does the above plan has any disadvantages.

Kindly advice.

A. We don't know how USCIS will view it.

B. Yes, if your friend burns down the apartment one evening while partying with craiglist hookers, you will be on the hook for 50% of damages. Do you have renter's insurance? In addition, if he fails to pay his portion of the rent and the landlord decides to put you boys on the curbside, it will be on your credit history.

C. Yes, if your friend brings home a hooker from the bar who happen to be an undercover police, who unbeknown to you, ask you if you want o have fun with her friend-who is also a hooker (undercover police officer), and you stupidly agree. You could be in for a huge destructive path to your citizenship.

If you've been in the US for a stretch of at least 12 consecutive months at any time since GC approval, look into applying for an N-470, which would allow you to preserve continuous residence for naturalization while working abroad for your US employer. If the N-470 is approved, you don't need to maintain any residence in the US during the N-470 validity.

A)Adding a friend on the lease is not the same as maintaining a primary US abode. Having your friend on lease will raise a red flag for USCIS since it shows that someone else is maintaining and living in apartment while you are out of US.

B) If your friend fails to pay the lease, the apartment company will come after you for payment. If you also fail to pay, it will eventually affect your credit.

C) Depends on what type of mistake you mean. If your friend commits identity theft by using your name and commits a crime, then yes it can affect your naturalization interview.

Again, having your friend on lease will show that you weren't solely maintaining the apartment while out of US. Instead, determine if your US company can file a N-470 for you so that you can maintain continuous residence.
