Hi,
I am currently eligible for filing N400, but I need to travel out of the country from March 1, 2010 to April 15, 2010.
I have not travelled much to cause any eligibility issues. I am trying to avoid losing another 3 months after I return to the USA before I can file the N400...
I am thinking of mailing my application about 1 week prior to my travel out of the country (last week of Feb 2010) and plan to not go for FP until I return about 7 to 8 weeks later.
If I get a finger printing appointment, can I go, let us say 4 weeks after the FP scheduled date for Fingerprinting (on a Wednesday or whatever).
Is it a standard process for all field offices that one could go for fingerprinting on any Wednesday after the scheduled FP day?
Please share your thoughts (encouraging or discouraging) and let me know if I am missing some risk factor here.
I live in Raleigh-Durham area of NC.
Thanks for any feedback...
