Mailed I130, I485, I765, I864,... Next Step!

Hi,
I understand that I need to wait until I get any confirmation or letter from USCIS. Is there anything I can do proactively to expedite the process. like DORA appt. or Biometrics or anything... My applications reached Chicago Lockbox on September 7, 2005. How long will it take to get any confirmation. What are the possible things could happen than my apllications getting rejected I am just curius to know the next steps so that I can be patient.

Does anyone know how long will it take to get EAD card, if everything goes smooth after the inital date of application. Me and my spouse live in Ohio. Please advise. Thanks.

Did you fill form P-365? If not then i advise you to do that ASAP. This form when approved would give you legal permission to accure infinite amount of patience to wait for your other applications to get processed and approved

FYI. If you sent applications to the lock box, you cannot use the DORA program even if you are eligible. You have to wait for USCIS to tell you when to go for your FP.

And... Relax... You just got started.

I mailed all my forms 8 days ago. I looked at my bank statement today and found out that USCIS has deposited the checks I mailed yesterday. So I guess it takes a week for them to accept the application. Lets hope the reply comes back soon.

Seems we filed virtually the same time. Application received Oct 5, checks were also deposited Oct12. Will be interesting to compare progress.
