Any idea what this message might mean ?

"On September 1, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."

EB3 - Concurrent file on 03/05/04
EAD and AP approved
SRC041075****

I got the same message, still waiting for the letter, somewhere in the mail. RD 07/02
FP ????????????????

BaSH:

Thx for replying. This message is only against my SRC# and not against my wife's SRC# (I am the primary applicant.). Does the FP notice come to the primary applicant only ? or does it come to both the applicants, primary or not ? At the time of filing 485 I think USCIS treats both applications as separate, right ?

Thanks

The FP notice is issued to both applicants. At least that is what happened in my case.
Good luck!

Could it mean that the GC has been approved, without finger printing and without I-140 approval ? That was my lawyers opinion..that USCIS can do stranger things.. so....

i got the same msg for my AP...

and i got my AP in 3 days. may be it is approval (but mostly it would be FP or RFE)!!!

AP notice should be in AP applications ...right ?

The notice for AP approval will be in AP applictaion track, not in 485 .... am I correct ?

I got the same message couple of weeks back. It turned out to be denial letter for expedite processing of GC. I sent a letter to expedite my I-485 application . They sent reply letter along with my letter.

Today morning I talked with USCIS customer service at 1800-375-5283 and asked them about the meaning of the message. I was surprised by their answer - they said that whenever they mention "document" in the status it means the actual "CARD" !! I guess, I will just have to wait to get whatever they posted in the mail to clear the air.

This is going to be a long wait. I do not have an approved I-140 and I haven't gotten any FP notice. So, am not sure what is going through these people. Maybe somebody just punched in the wrong SRC # !! and I am fretting in vain !

But I would like to know if anybody has been approved before I-140 / FP approval ??

Thanks,

Yes, I know someone's I-485 approved without I-140 approval. You should know this is TSC. They can do any stupid and strange thing. TSC=stupid=idiot=lier.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it is most probably FP notice. Lot of people in this forum have reported getting this message and most of the time it turned out to be an FP notice.

This message means different things for differnt types of applications. Here is a general rule of thumb,

I 485 case - most probably FP notice.
AP - most probably approval
EAD - most probably EAD card

My personal opinion, most of the attorneys don't know jack. Even the high profile and high priced ones.

One of my friend has the same msg (I-140) for last 1 1/2 years.
In his case, it turned out to be acknowledment for address change.

For him also, customer service told that they actually mailed the green card.
