thanks in advance.

when you contact kcc by email you have to provide your Full Name and date of birth and your case number, so send them an email with those information if there is mistake in the birth date they will tell you that not correct information, so it's easy friend, dont worry

hi firo thnx a lot 4 ur reply...i think that is a gud idea. bt in case if thy r not checkng the year wht will hapn?? (bcz thy will chck birth details at last..nd if the case no and all the names are same thr z a chance 2 not 2 check da birth details.) any way if i want to contact them when can i contact?? do i have to wait until august?? and by contacting what can i inqiure??

Hi
You must contact KCC immediately by email at KCCDV@state.gov
Explain your situation about your mistake while registering DV last year. I believe that they will make changes as your request and your previous information will not be valid anymore. Do not forget to write your Case No. Full Name and Date of Birth.
So don't worry too much and remember it will take KCC at least a week to respond your email.
Hope this helps!

My friend had exactly the same thing. Won and when she called they couldn't find her information and didn't want to say anything except for that her date of birth was different as was entered....

She was guessing and by the second phone call and 4 times guessing she was told she had the right birth year as was entered which was her siblings birth year. She sent in proof of birth certificates, paspport, etc...and never was asked any question during her interview about the mistake in her birth year and as you can see in my signature she received her GC!:) So don't worry, mistakes happen as long as you have proof to back up your mistake you should be fine...if you don't have official papers with the right date, than you are in trouble...

KCC will not provide you with the birth date you have entered you can only guess until you are right, if you made an error.

Correcting the errors in the E-DV application form is not allowed once it is submitted. We get emails from people asking "how can I correct the error in the submitted E-DV online application form of the DV Lottery now?". For them following is the answer. Error Correction of the names, date of birth and change of addresses in the submitted E-DV entry form can't be allowed now. Also the address you entered in the E-DV entry form too can't be changed to another one.
