M1 to F1

Can I have any problems if I have M1 visa exparied in end of july 05 and I want to apply for an F1 june 05 with a diferent subject of study??Is there any issue?or any specific qualificaton I need to do?

you need to apply for a change of status BEFORE your current status expires.

I know that I need to apply at least one month befor my last visa expires, BUT is there any ISSUE if I have M1 visa??and I apply for F1.I heard that i cannot study the same subject like on my M1??Is it true??Should i be worry about anything.Or this is the same procedure like for J1 to F1??
