LUDs in DEC 2007 - PLEASE SHARE HERE

Guys: Let's post your DEC 2007 LUDs here, and any efforts that you did to make it happen (writing letters, calling etc.).

I've seen LUDs for two consecutive days 12/10 & 12/11 for my and my wife's cases. I don't believe that my priority date qualifies for the visa assignment, so not sure that what these LUDs be related to!!
 
LUD on wife's case

I have a LUD today on my wife's case. We received RFE on her case on October end which was replied & received by USCIS on November 16. Had a LUD on that day and then there is one today...No LUDs on my case which is primary since September.

Guys,
Don't waste your time in tracking LUDs and trying to guess what would have triggered it -
especially if your PDs are not current.
Have a life!

I am not retrogressed but pushed back by NC
 
Yes, true - those r listed for my records but I am no longer curious about them.
From my own experience I am advising to not pay much attention to them
if your PD is not current - unless you had any RFE or NOID.
For those whose PD is current, seeing an LUD is a sure excitement :)
 
I have another LUD on my wife's case today...I guess they might be updating her case based on the RFE that we sent last month...I am assuming that they will be approving the EAD soon after these updates...

Both of our I-485 applications got LUDs on 12/12 and 12/13. May be these are some routine updates. My last week conversation with a TSC IO: Name Check Pending.
 
You are so right... Wasted an entire month already since my RFE reply. Couldn't focus on anything other than staring at the on-line message.. Now one month later, only realized there is nothing I could have done to make a change ... Have to just live with it and get back to my life...

As I posted earlier we received 2 consecutive LUDs on 12/12 and 12/13. Got littile bit excited, thought the end of tunnel was finally arriving. Today talked to a TSC IO. The reply is 'Name Check Pending'. I guess those LUDs do not really mean anything.....
 
LUDs on old approved cases

I saw LUDs date 12/15 on my old I-140 and AP cases approved back in 2005.
Not sure what it means..my visa number is also not current. Just fyi..
 
I had LUD on my I-485 on 12/14 .. but no message change. I called TSC I/O ..the office told me that the file is with officer but no decision has been made. No RFE/NOID had been issued. NC cleared back in July.

I guess my date is retrogressed so thats why no decision yet.

I called TSC about my case.IO told me some officer opened my case on 12/1 and case is still pending ..I asked is there a time frame in which the case will approved.Answer was "No idea"
 
Pattern is clear

As seen all the posts in this thread and the latest approval I485 from Trackitt in the past weeks, The pattern is very clear that NOT a single case under retrogression was approved since Dec 1st!
Forget about the pre-assigned visa number. Sorry for saying this, but guys, we have to face the reality. Until the visa number is back, we just have to hold on to it....
 
Sorry but WHERE do you see the LUD? I check my case online often but there's no date other then the current date. Can anyone help me?
 
There was LUD on my I-140 also on 12/15/2007 ( my I-140 was approved on March 24, 2005 )

I hope God can know what is going on there at USCIS Tx on my application like..

My guess is ..
you must be checking your status by just providing the receipt number..which can be done at this place:
https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

But, in order to see the 'LUD' (last update date) on your case ..you have to create your own account/portfolio at USCIS website and add your I-485 case number to it. This way whenever you will login into USCIS website, you will see the LUD on your case. Also, you can set for automated email reply whenever there is any change to your case as well.
You can create your account going to this place (shown below)..and choose 'Create /Edit customer portfolio account'

Got two updates on pending spouse's I-485.. sorry sorry.. current spouse's pending I-485 had two LUDS in December. 12/3 - case transferred to NBC for standard interview. 12/19 - case pending at the office to which it was transferred. Just waiting for the interview call. Primary is approved back in May 07. Wondering why an EB based spouse would get an interview? My spouse got medical RFE in May and replied and received in June but nothing happened until we sent DHS 7001 on 11-28-2007.
