Hi folks,

I've been seeing lot of messages about LUD changes. I've a simple basic question. since i've filed my I485 my online status message is constant. It didn't change even after I did my finger printing. Since my file is sent bo bcis i'm reading the same message as below...

"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on **** (date when they received my I485 application). We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

I've also subscried myself for email notification but didn't get any email.Do you get LUD change in email?
Does it mean that there is no LUD change for my case?
Where will I notice the LUD change if any on that case status page?

While LUD changes occur after FP or RFEs, message remains the same in general (sometimes LUD change and message change occur together)..you do not get e-mails for LUD changes..most of the times LUDs change because of internal processing...do you see any changes in the dates (in case status page) or is it still showing the receipt date?.

Mine also showing the same status message and no message change even after fp. I got one LUD change 4 months after fp.

can you give your case details in signature.

Toxsci and Inian,

I don't see any other dates at all on that page except the date mentioned in my case status information(date when they received my I485 application) . Where exactly do you all see this LUD date change on that page?
 
LUD changes

When you sign onto your online portfolio the dates that are displayed on the main page under the heading "Last Updated (LUD)" are the dates that reflect the latest LUD changes. This means that on that date something happened with the case. It could be a system update, some officer could have accessed your file or some notice may have been sent out to you. Although LUD changes are common, the detailed messages remain the same a lot of times. So you might see a LUD change but when you click the case to get more details, the date on that page would not have changed from before. Sometimes the message along with the date inside the message also change along with the LUD change. These are less common.

Hope this has cleared your confusion.

Hi Saras,

Thank you very much for your help. Now i know how to check the LUDs! I just checked my online portfolio first time and now i can see the LUD. Last LuD changed I see is 7/19/2005.

Here is the case detail:

EB3 India priority date: march 2003
LUD change: 7/19/2005
I485 notice date: June 2004

Yes. Currently it shows 7/19 (which is the latest LUD)
