LUD changed to Dec 24, 2004 today

My I-485 LUD was changed from 10/27/2004 to 12/24/2004 today (or yesterday). Online status message stays the same. I e-filed renewal of my EAD and AP last week, which might have triggered this, but why wasn't it changed to current date? Any one experienced this before?

changed for me too from 1/4 to 1/24 and the message is the same. I had inquired on the emergency number on thu/fri.
 
All guys, post your story in detail, such as RD, FP, RFE and so on. No one make a help or sometning without the process of your case, becasue you guys are telling just a part.
 
Here is my I-485 details:

EB3
RD 12/05/03
FP1 04/17/04
AP and EAD: AD 02/14/04
LUD 04/17/04 -> 07/17/04 -> 10/27/04 -> 12/24/04
 
There was mass update on 12/24/04, so I think that your case was on adjudication last month but was forgotten due to a lazy officer or error. After you turned in application for AP and EAD, an officer realized your case would have been adjudicated, so an officer is pulling out your case for process. This is a scenario on your case!!

LUD: 5/20 - 10/27 - 11/16 - 11/17 - 11/19 - 12/04 - 12/24 - 12/29 - 1/04 - 1/24

nobody has more LUD than me :D :D :D :D :D

that is the reason i don't get too excited about LUD. One this is for sure you will get an LUD before case gets approved. it happened in my 140 but i had a similar trail of LUD so the pattern is vague.

140 RD: Sept 2003, AD: 1/18 No RFE

I have a different theory about LUDs. My case fell down under officer's desk and every time his/her dog takes damp on my file LUD changes.
