LUD Change on July 4th 2005

something crazy is going on...

All my cases ..approved / unapproved ..everything has an LUD of 07/07

Is it due to Adress change i requested ? Even my I140 / EAD / AP ( all approved) got the LUD . there is NO message change on anyone of them...

Really crazy...
 
This whole process is a mess

Don't worry to much about these LUD changes. So far (JULY) LUD changes have not lead to anything for any of us. There is defenitely something going on at TSC but there is no way we will ever find out whats going on.

Today I was reading Murthys weekly bulletin and there she states that they have started seeing 485 approvals in record times (3 months, 6 months etc). This is the part that really pisses me of. The processing has become so erratic that there is no telling when any of us EB3s may see our approvals. It might be in Oct 05 or a year from then. That is the worst part of this damn process. Most of the service centers have determined that fixing problems with older cases and trying to catch up with them is going to take to much time and is not worth the effort right now. The ironic part is that they messed up most of the older cases. They are not putting to many of their resourrces into older cases. Presently they (especially TSC) continue to process new cases in record times. They are more concenrned about improving their processing numbers and showing these of to Congress. Approving newer cases is improving their numbers and they could care less for the older cases that are not hurting their numbers. If they approve enough newer cases the older pending cases become less relevant to their all important processing numbers. Its sad that this process has been reduced to manipulating numbers but they do not care for what any of us have to go through.

Personally, TSC can't even approve my AP that has been pending for over 6 months. How can I expect them to get to my 485 anytime soon.

Saras, Is it possible for you to file another I-485 on the basis of your approved I-140 (after Oct 1st when EB3 opens up again). I don't think Texas has the means to verify that you already have a I-485 pending. If you do that then who knows... your new I-485 may get approved (assuming it is possible to file two I-485s using the same I-140) given how TSC works. Just a thought!
 
Another LUD change today

Guys and Gals,

Not sure what is going on but today there was a LUD change on my wifes 485 applicaiton that had an RFE on it and was replied to a few months back. The last LUD change was on her pending AP and 485 on the 5th of July. Yesterday (12thof July) the LUD on her 485 changed to the 12th but there was no change in the AP LUD. God knows what TSC is doing?

Saras76 ,It looks on you are coming on track.

One of my friend's AP was pending for long time and finally they denied giving reason as 485 has been approved.It was indeed approved.It look like your paper (my gut feeling) will be set right for approval in October.there is phrase "Dard ka ek hud se guzar jana....".(assumed u understand Hindi ).
 
Dependant QUESTION

Everyone,
I wanted to ask you if any of you had a similar situation. Up to the FP notices, my husband (dependant) and I were receiving the notices the same time. My I-485 got approved and his hasn't yet. WE did FP the same day. I did the PP stamping last week and had several LUDs but he hasn't yet. When I called TSC, the agent told me to wait. Have any of you had a similar experience? If yes, how long did it take for your dependant applicant to receive something?

We ( Mine and My Wife) Got LUD Change on our I-485 Application today for the first time after the Application receipt. Looks like our applications finding a Nice Shelf ??

EB3 -PD Aug 2002 ( Retro)
I-140 - AD June 29th 2005.
I-485 - AD?? ( LUD on 07/18).
2nd EAD - AD 07/15/2005.

vibrant and others,

Since EB3s cannot be approved right now, I wonder what all these LUD changes mean. I think they are filing us all away. Hope they can find our files in October :)

After that July 4th fireworks..it took a short break and LUD changed yesterday and this morning. It looks like some automatic update is going on..
