LUD change on approved 140

Does an LUD change on an approved 140 mean anything at all. My 140 was approved on 09/28 and LUD changed once to 09/29 and all was quiet. Today suddenly the LUD changed to 12/14 with no change in message. Anybody with either similar experience or have read a post like this. Please let me know.

I had a similar experience and am still searching for an answer. My 140 was approved in 2002 and then suddenly the LUD changed after 6 months or so.. I tried calling customer service, talking with my ex lawyer (have changed jobs since), even filed FOIA for 485, but could not find anything.

Only 2 things come to my mind (A) I had filed 140 as CP but later changed to AOS. May be they updated the 140 with the AOS information and that caused LUD change. (B) I had gone for FP one month before the LUD changed on 140, so may be that caused it, though it doesn't makes sense that a 485 FP will cause 140 LUD to change.

Did you start your 140 as CP as well?

Are you still with your sponsoring employer? If so, you may be able to ask your lawyer to find out thru AILA. 140 is the fundamental base of 485 application, so I can understand why you are getting so worried to find out.

I have just switched jobs maybe a couple of days back. I am sure that is not a reason as that is too soon. What worries me out of my skull is that I am working on my EAD and switched jobs based on Ac21. Am going to send the docs soon as get my first payslip. Is there anyone else in same boat. BTW you said approved in 2002 . So 6 months later was this incident in 2003 140 LUD change or more recently. Pls lemme know.

485 Applied - Jan 2003
140 LUD Change - May 2003

Did you apply for 140 as CP and then change to AOS? Please let me know.

Nope always 485...No cp

App date 140 09/28/04 (after RFE )

Did you get RFE
 
yeppo, i think you should relax and wait.

LUD change could be a good sign..they may be looking at your 485 case and needed some details from I-140.

Worry is I am on EAD and .......

Sometimes I wonder why I came here at all. This process and these LUD's and all they are a nightmare. Maybe it was better in the older days when all they got was postal RFE etc.

---- I think you have TV and it has good and bad shows on it but you have remote in your hand change the channel or dont swith the TV on. why are you checking LUD every day?? nobody is forcing you. relax!!

Relax!!! dont check LUD for a week.
 
You know Ginnu unfortunately in my portfolio the 140 is also there along with the 485's etc. I guess that is why when it changed I noticed the change immediately.
