LUD after AOS approval

Hi Folks,

My AOS case was approved yesterday, and I got the online status change as followed. Does it mean there is other registration step followed and what is "ADIT processing" mentioned in the message? I'm confused.

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On January 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

i have this same message after my I 485 was approved on 23rd. i will also like to hear response from folks in this forum.

' ADIT ' Processing is for people who get the immigration visa's in the Home countries. Once they arrive in USA, they get the passports stamped for permanent residency at port of entry. They have to fill ' ADIT ' forms and send to USCIS and after that they get the Permanent Resident Card by mail within 60 days. So if you are already in US, don't worry about it.
