LUD after almost 1 year- what is that mean?

tsr1974, we have similar situation:
EB-2 (with spouse),CSC, PD 10/2004 (will become current next month, now 7/2004 is current)
485 RD and ND are 2/2005
Name check cleared (me) 2/2006, --spouse still pending
LUD: 5/22/2006 (me) and 5/23/2006 (me) no msg changed.

could not figure out what the heck is that.
 
Both myself and my wife received our EAD's and Ap (2nd year) a few days ago. I 485 has been pending since Jan 05. No LUD's since March 2005 when we had our FP's done. All of a sudden i see a UPdate date on my 485 for my wife, message is same though. Dont know whats going on. Maybe EAD's triggered something? Its a mystery how this organization works. hope something comes out good for us from this bill they have been talking about.
