FP (As per AVM, FP schedule was sent out on 06/27/2002, not receive yet)

My question for you is how you could do your FD right after you got the notice, that is almost a month ahead of your scheduled date? Could you share your experience of doing FP in NY? Thanks.

We recd the notice on 06/20/2002 which was thursday. we went to to the ins application support on saturday 06/22/2002. The initial clerk asked us why we want to do the fp now itself. we told him that we may not be here during the scheduled day and thats it. everything went smooth. we were there around 7.45AM and out by 8.30AM. The office opens at 8.00AM. there were around 10people before us.

AP approved on June 20th 2002

Called VSC and heard AVM message saying Advance Parole had been approved on June 20, 2002.

Here are my details:

RD = May 30, 2002
ND= June 2, 2002
VSC - New Hampshire
EAC 02-205-5xxxxx
EAD approved = June 18, 2002
AP approved = June 20, 2002 (Have not received it yet)
Waiting for FP notices...
 
Question to you Immigration gurus

In the Receipt notice I got from INS it says that RD = May 30, 2002, ND = June 2, 2002.

In the AVM message it says "We received your ...case on June 2, 2002, a receipt notice was mailed..."

So which is really my receipt date? May 30 or June 2 ??

I am in Florida... that could be a reason for not receiving the FP notice yet.

My company is based in Massachusetts but I live in New Hampshire. I am not sure where I will get FP notice. I am still waiting, it seems that all states are quicker to get FP notice than NH.

I am in NY. RD 05/17/02, I have not recieved FP notice yet. I am going on vacation for 45 days, normally you are given one months notice to get fingerprinted. I was told that I could go on any wensday after scheduled date upto 90 days as far as VSC is concern and there won't be any problem. Any one please confirm or deny this.

Has everyone that applied on May 2002 received their fingerprint notices?

It seems like I am all alone with no finger print notice :( . Any suggestions on what I should do other than try and be patient?

Fingerprint notice sent notice for NH

Hello all,

FINALLY !!!!

I heard on AVM that my FP notice has been mailed on August 21st. I guess for NH the FP process is very slow.

So 'gc = patience' hang in there if you have not yet received the notice. It should be here in a day or two. good luck.

I am planning to go for the FP next wednesday. Is there anyone who has done the FP in NH earlier than the scheduled date?

Please post their experiences.
