Hi All,

My employer is ready to file h1-b next month but I'm afraid my salary is kinda low, 36K ..and I have a MBA, but my work is not entirely related to the degree hence the low salary. Will this salary pose a problem?

My employer is not willing to increase salary immediately. Do H1s get approved for salary scales in this range??

Thanks for all your hep and input!!!

Your prevailing salary is depends on the job title and description , your employment county not based on your MBA qualification.

What is your job title and description?

i work in web marketing as an analyst, basically a entry level number cruncher...

could one re-apply with higher salary, after a LCA rejection? I know there's little time but if lca decision comes through quick enough might be possible?

First find out your prevailing wage for your entry level positions. May be 36K will be accepted.

lawyer in charge of my case has not mentioned anything, will meet with him soon. I'm assuming his silence is a OK then. But I am still worried...
