kidding!

One month ago I got my GC approved. I'm willing to work for the same employer untill January 2006. Is there a way that my employer to harm my GC app before or after January? He doesn't know about my approval yet (he's too busy playing Solitaire all day long and there is no communication between departments) and treats me as I still need his services. I was thinking to let him know about that just to put an end to the hassle, but meanwhile I'm afraid that he will stop playing Solitaire and will try to find a way to make me sign a contract for a long period of time or to harm my GC or future citizenship appl. I'm not paranoid. Probably many of you have the same problems.
Thank you for your time

Just found it I'll probably have to tell my employer about approval. Anyway, if anybody knows more about this form I hope will let us know about it. Was I working illegal in the last 30 days or so?

No, you weren't working illegally. There is no legal obligation for you to inform your employer about your new status, nor is there any penalty for you if USCIS does an I-9 audit. The employer might get in trouble, but that's about it.

What do you think? Should I tell my employer about the approval? The only problem is that he will start to behave nice (normal) and in January will be very difficult for me to tell him to find somebody else to replace me. I'm not a jerk. Thank you for your advice
