My husband had his interview in Louisville. When he arrived they said that they didn't have his paperwork and asked if he had a copy of n-400 with him. He did and they copied it and told him to wait 30 minutes for the interview.
He waited and then was sworn in. They reveiwed his application with him checking his travel dates with his passport and then made copies of mine and our childrens birth certificate and 3 years tax returns and marriage license. They asked him 10 questions (he really couldn't remember which ones) he got all right. Then they asked him to read "The White House has trees." and write "The children are playing."
At the end of the interview they said he passed the history and civics and then they marked "a decision could not be made at this time."
They told him that they have to wait until they receive his original paperwork and they he should receive an Oath Letter in 3-4 months.
Does anyone have any experience with them NOT having your paperwork on the day of your interview? His timeline is rather quick, maybe that is the problem? Or do you think they have it but couldn't find it today?
TIA
