I am have recently received my H-1 and intend to go for my VISA renewal to India/ canada. Before my H-1 i was on OPT for 2 months.
After i got my H-1, i lost my opt card. I contacted my school to see if they can help me get a replacement/new OPT Card.They however told me they cannot do that as i am presently on an H-1 and not in F-1 anymore.
My concern is that the immigrationn official at the consulate might ask me to show my OPT card before issuing me an H-1.
I would appreciate if SOMEONE could suggest/guide me through this situation.
