Lost Old Passport - Please Advice

Hi All, couple years ago while getting a Visa to Norway, the Norwegian consulate lost my passport. I ended up getting a new passport, but all my entry, exist stamps for the 3 years prior to getting a new passport are essentially gone (don't have a photocopy). I recovered more or less accurate exit entry dates (all the trip durations are under month ) from emails, etc for the N400 application. I explained my situation in the cover letter...
Anyone with similar experience? Any advice is much appreciated.

Just bring your new passport. You're not expected to have your expired passports at interview. Just explain to IO what happened at interview.
