My 485 got approved . See my other post for details.
I changed address recently and also my lawyer did the same.

I have few questions
If Approval notice is lost in the process of forwarding/returning etcetc.

Is there any way we can request duplicate approval notice from INS ?

Is there any way we can go to Local INS office and get it stamped with out having original approval notice(May be they have a way to access main database) ?

You can call NSC, say I didn't recieved the approval notice.

or Go to your local INS and take the print out of the online message and also your filing receipt along with that. Make a try....

Nothing wrong in trying both.

Antsy02098,

I think gcseek's concern is that the lawyer changed his address also. I will be in the same situation by the end of this year after my lawyer moves.

Yes exactly. My lawyer moved four times in last 2 1/2 years. I am sure my lawyer's copy will be lost in mail........I talked to my post office supervisor she said that, definetly INS mails are not forwarded. Its a big mess with these things.
Is it possible apply for duplicate approval notice ?

Could any one give me the "address change" fax number and postal address of texas service center. (since my case has been approved NSC wants me to directly update my address with texas service center And they would'nt give me number)
