Lost job on H1B. Shifting to H4 or B1 better?

I am on H1B and I lost my job. My 60 days grace period ends on 23rd March.
My husband is on H1B (doesn't have i140 approved yet).
To have a longer time to find a job I want to change my status to either H4 or B1.
Wanted to know which option is better and how much time change of status would take and when should I start the process?
Also, what is the procedure to change status back to H1B once I get a job?

To extend your stay after losing your job on H1B, changing your status to H4 or B1 is possible. H4 allows you to stay as a dependent of your husband on H1B, and you can apply for work authorization if your husband gets an I-140 approved. B1 is for business visits, but it won’t allow you to work while job hunting. The change of status process typically takes 2-3 months. You should start the process at least 30-60 days before your grace period ends to avoid status issues. When you get a job, your new employer can file an H1B petition for you. Once approved, you can switch back to H1B and resume working.
