Hi,

If someone is fired on H1b visa. How much time does he/she has to file for H1 transfer?
I couldn't get an answer, for definite number of days.

What I presume - One has maximum of 60 days from the day he/she is fired?
However, few threads say you need to have two recent pay stab to file for h1 transfer (what happens if someone is on a holiday and is fired?)

Please advice what grace period is considered to find a new job and file for h1B transfer.
Does the employer informs USCIS to cancel your h1 or it is deemed to be cancelled the day you offical leave your job?

Great Guru, Got PR anyone else please help.

Thanks

There is no time limit. i.e. you are considered violating H1 requirement from the day you are out of the payroll.
Find the job as soon as possible.

if you can not provide enough pay stubs when you transfer, you may not get I-94 attached to H1 approval notice, you have to go get H1 stamp in that case.
