Hi,
Me and my wife have received DV Green Card in 2008. We have since 2008 have hard time to find job in US so we have stayed in our country (i know that we are not suppose to do that but i can't travel and stay there if i don't have money for food etc.) but have been travelled to US at least once a year to keep the Greencard and look for jobs. We believe we found something now and would like to move all of our stuff but we have an issue. My wife has not been to US in more that a year because she was pregnant and had to give birth. My question is now. What will happen when we get point of entreance ? Will they denied her entrance ? We have not received any letters in US that her Greencard is not valid anymore. I am from a visa waiver country but she is not so if they deny her entrance i can enter US even based on Waiver visa but she can't so i need to know what to do. Should i talk with the embassy or is it clear that she lost the Greencard ? I mean how does one get the information that the Greencard is not valid anymore ?

If it happens that she is denied we can get a Visa for her then she can stay for 3 months as a tourist wile we file for a Greencard again for her. Is that correct understood or because they denied her entrance she won't be able to file for Greencard again ?

She should go to the Consulate or Embassy and try for a an SB-1 visa IF you she did NOT have a re-entry permit which would have allowed you to stay abroad for 2 years without endangering your greencards. The pregnacy and birth should make it an easy visa to get. {Google SB-1 visa}

The baby will be processed for a greencard IF (s)he enters the U.S. with the mom on mom's first trip back and the child is under 2 years old.
