Friend of a friend..

Friend of a friend,

tell your friend to file for a replacement. Once your friend receives a NOA from USCIS, your friend can file for citizenship, and in the N400 application send a copy of NOA for replacement of GC.

USCIS will adjudicate replacement of GC prior to completion of citizenship application, in most cases it is done at the interview. ;) So, friend, tell your friend to file for naturalization, after getting a NOA from USCIS that they have received a request to replace a lost GC.... :o

If your friend doesn't file for replacement of GC, your friend is going to be in serious trouble with USCIS... GC is needed by USCIS, and a copy needs to be enclosed when filling for N400...
